Our 6 Horses Challenge Research:

Race 1 - North View

We start today’s 6 Horses Challenge at Newmarket and the bet365 Handicap. An entry list of 17 has been confirmed, and this race also confirms North View’s return to racing. The John & Thady Gosden-trained entry has not taken to the turf since last September and although there has been no activity in seven months, its previous outing at Bath was a victorious one. A field of seven that afternoon but more competitors for jockey William Buick to deal with and with Gamekeeper and Woodhay Wonder also being well backed before the race gets underway, this could be a three-horse race to the finish. Then again, only one can be declared a winner (unless there is a rare dead heat) and the nod goes to North View to get us underway.

Race 2 - Juniper

Next, we move to Cheltenham and the Sporting Agenda Challenger Series Mares' Chase Final Handicap Chase. Twenty-one fences are positioned between the start line and the winning post, and ten entries have been confirmed. One of those is Juniper, and with the Anthony Honeyball-trained entry having won both of its last two outings, the expectation is for three in a row. This expectation could be met based on how it won at both Wincanton and Taunton during the past couple of months. Juniper romped to victory in Somerset last Month, and although it was only a field of five that day, it showed enough prowess to pique our interest in today’s 6 Horse challenge. The likes of I Am Gonna Be and Presenting A Queen will likely find themselves in the mix, but neither will present a winner at Juniper’s expense.

Race 3 - Lead Artist

Now we go back to Newmarket and the Wood Ditton Maiden Stakes, and with a dozen runners entering, Lead Artist is currently the bookmaker’s favourite before the day’s racing gets underway. Not only that, but we are backing the horse in question to lead the other eleven to victory. Not because of race-winning pedigree but because of the pedigree it comes from, and with the John & Thady Gosden-trained horse being the first foal of French 1m Group 2 winner Obligate, this lineage is enough for us to get excited about the outcome and enough for us to back it to victory at the expense of First Conquest and Padesha.

Race 4 - Realisation

Next is a return to Cheltenham and the Catesby Estates Mares' Challenger Series Final Handicap Hurdle. Ten hurdles stand in the way of seventeen entries, and sixteen of them will have to accept the realisation that they will not win. This statement is rather apt when looking at our victorious pick. Pick number four is Realisation itself and with the Charlie Longsdon-trained entry having finished fourth at Aintree on Boxing Day, it will instead look to mimic its performance at Southwell nine days previous. Victory there in an eight-horse race was more indicative of its level of capability. With jockey Lilly Pinchin taking the reins, this combination is more than capable of crossing the finish line first.

Race 5 - Marshmann

Now, we take our final trip to Newmarket and the Connaught Access Flooring Abernant Stakes. A race that has 14 confirmed runners, and with this, it means a very competitive-looking entry list. While competitive is an excellent way to sum up the efforts of Marshmann in recent months. The K R Burke-trained entry has only raced once this season and this was a second-place finish at Doncaster when Montassib came out on top. Second best that afternoon but more a display of what this horse of capable of and after having to do with respectable places last season, many feel that this season is when we will see Marshmann collecting victories.

Race 6 - Malatia

Our final visit to Cheltenham takes us to the British EBF Mares' Novices' Limited Handicap Chase Final. Only seven entries for this race, and although clearing 17 fences is far from easy, our final pick in the 6 Horses Challenge should be far less difficult. This is because Malatia stands out from the crowd, and the reason for that is due to an impressive trio of performances at Ludlow since the start of the year. Not only a pair of second-places for the Mel Rowley-trained horse but also victory in its last outing and with this also being the bookmaker’s favourite some distance, we are predicting jockey Charlie Deutsch to bring it home first without any trouble.

Research Suggestions:

Although the game is open to all Bet365 customers, it is arguably a game that rewards those who put the time and effort first, so do your research by reading through form guides and find out whether the going is Heavy, Good or Good to soft.

Also, be sure to check for any critical player injuries. Like with Fantasy Football, you don’t want to put all your hopes on a team winning only to find their best player is out injured.

The prize value displayed for six correct predictions is the maximum available based on a single winner and will be reduced in the event of a shared prize pool. If more than one entrant predicts six correct results, the total amount of applicable prize money will be shared equally between all entrants involved. Entry to 6 Horses Challenge is separate from standard bet placement, and all Bet365 offers do not apply.

On Day 3 of the Aintree Festival 2024, the jackpot, which was £250,000, was won by four lucky winners pocketing £62,500 each.

Final Thoughts:

The 6 Horses Challenge is open to new and existing Bet365 customers, and with it being such an easy game to play, we hope our guide has tempted you to select a half-dozen potential winners.

However, backing a winning horse is easier said than done, and with a busy field of entrants per race, it is about more than achieving this feat once; it is repeating that success another five times over.

Whether working alone or teaming up in a syndicate, your racing knowledge could soon be rewarded, but at the same time, beginners' luck could have just as much chance of overall success.

The jackpot prize will be yours if you are the only player to predict six winners. At the same time, if multiple customers find the joy of six, the £50,000 prize will be split accordingly.

Of course, that has not stopped a legion of punters from trying their luck each weekend, and although the Bet365 6 Horses Challenge has only been active for a short time, it has quickly become one of the most popular free games in the industry.

6 Horse Challange Rules

6 Horses Challenge is free to play and available as advertised in the 6 Horses Challenge section.

Only one entry is permitted per person for each round of 6 Horses Challenge. Bet365 monitors the use of multiple accounts by the same individual or group. If Bet365 has reasonable grounds to suspect that an individual(s) has submitted multiple entries either by themselves or in collusion with a group of people then all entries for that individual(s) will become null and void.

You participate in 6 Horses Challenge by predicting the winner of each of the nominated races, as displayed in the 6 Horses Challenge section. Entry for each round is available until the first race starts, and your existing entries can also be edited until this time (including if your bet contains a non-runner). If non-runners are not changed before entry closes, such selection(s) will revert to the unnamed favourite (according to standard settlement rules).

A disqualified selection will be deemed a loser.

The races included in each round of 6 Horses Challenge are determined solely by Bet365.
For the purposes of settling a 6 Horses Challenge game, results are based on the official result after the weigh-in; Double Result concessions do not count.

In the event of a dead heat between two or more horses in any of the races, all off the horses that dead heat as winners will be treated as full winners for the purpose of that particular round.

Your previous and active 6 Horses Challenge entries are displayed under My History on the 6 Horses Challenge page.

Prizes

The available prizes for each round are displayed in the 6 Horses Challenge section.

Where a race/meeting is abandoned or otherwise void for normal settlement, that race will no longer count towards 6 Horses Challenge. The prize structure for that round will be amended according to the number of remaining races. If 1 race is abandoned, all prizes will be reduced by 50%. If 2 races are abandoned, the entire round of 6 Horses Challenge will be settled as void.

Prizes for each round of 6 Horses Challenge game will be credited once the result of the final relevant race is known.

The prize value displayed for six correct predictions is the maximum available based on a single winner and will be reduced in the event of a shared prize-pool. If more than one entrant predicts six correct results, the total amount of applicable prize-money will be shared equally between all entrants involved.

For payment of large prizes, winners may be contacted directly by Bet365.

Your account may be subject to standard verification checks prior to withdrawal of winnings from a 6 Horses Challenge prize.

Any prize money will only be returned to the named account holder.
