bet365's new horse racing promotion Position Payout is a refreshing take on the classic each-way bet, with the difference being that the higher your horse finishes, the greater the rewards.

Each-way betting can be confusing to the inexperienced bettor, with different placements for different races and the same payout regardless of whether your horse finishes 2nd or 5th, for example.

bet365’s Positions Payout has the potential to change the face of each-way betting. Until now, the place part of each-way bets has been paid out at the same odds. Now you will be rewarded for where your selection finishes, so the higher the finish, the larger the payout. Simple!

How does the Position Payout work?

1. Sign in to your bet365 account or register as a new customer by clicking our link.
2. Go to a horse race of your choice and select the 'Position Payout' tab.
3. Here, you can then see the possible payouts available depending on where your selection finishes in the race. Each selection will display a return for finishing 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc.
4. Place your bet, and the higher your selection finishes, the higher your payout.

Position Payout is available for pre-race single bets on Horse Racing and eligible for Double Result. It is not eligible for Best Odds Guaranteed. In the event of a horse within a Position Payout bet becoming a non-runner, selections on that horse will be made void and the multiplier for the other horses will be recalculated for the remaining selections where appropriate.

The bet365 Position Payout is not available for every single race, and it is strictly a pre-race market. Here is a breakdown of when and where you can find eligible races:

• UK & Ireland Racing: The market becomes available on selected races starting at 10:00 AM UK Time on the day of the race.
• Australia & New Zealand Racing: For chosen meetings in these regions, the market opens at 01:00 AM UK Time on race day.
• International Racing (North/South America & Others): For these selected meetings, the market becomes available one hour before the first race begins, provided fixed odds are offered.
