Tote Withdrawal Time UK - How long does it take?

Last Updated: 21 March 2024, Author: AceOdds.com

Withdrawals are processed at close of business on the day the withdrawal is requested. They will then take up to 5 working days to reach your account.

If you've made a profit from the Tote Credit received from your welcome bonus and want to withdraw it as cash, then read on to find out how.

Although Tote offers limited payment methods, it pays to be aware of the closed-loop policy. You will need to ensure that withdrawals are made to the same card used to deposit. To avoid problems, ensure you've read through our article on depositing to Tote.

Withdrawals from Tote are processed the same working day, and the funds are released at close of business that day. Outside of this, Tote state that processing times are determined by your card provider or payment service and can take 3-5 working days for cards, though e-wallets may be the same day.

The terms and conditions at Tote mention that you can have one card and one e-wallet registered to your account. Elsewhere on the site only cards are mentioned, and when we came to deposit for the first time we only found the ability to add a card. If using an e-wallet is important to you we suggest contacting Tote to confirm first.

Debit Cards

Allow up to 5 working days for withdrawals to reach your account.

A debit card is required to make your first Tote deposit, and you will need to use the same card to make your first withdrawal.

Withdrawals up to £9000 will be processed and funds released at the end of the day on which the request was made. Depending on your bank, receiving your funds could take a further 3-5 working days.

E-wallet

E-wallet withdrawals are normally received same day.

The Tote T&Cs state that you can register an e-wallet to your account. If you have made a future deposit using an e-wallet, this is usually a much faster way to receive your winnings as the processing time for online payment methods is normally the same day.

Tote will still release your funds at the end of the working day. If you request a withdrawal at the weekend or on a bank holiday, you may still face delays but should still see the funds quicker than with a card.

How to Withdraw Funds

To make a withdrawal from your account, you can click the account icon in the top menu from any page on the site.

This will show you your current balance, stakes and returns, as well as options to manage your account.

Select withdraw from the menu, and you will be taken to the withdrawal screen.

After this, the process is very similar to making a deposit. You will be asked how much you wish to withdraw, and a pop-up will appear with your withdrawal options.

Tote will attempt to withdraw to the payment method used to deposit. If you do not have sufficient funds for the withdrawal, an error message will be shown.

Responsible Gambling

When gambling with Tote, many tools are available to help you gamble responsibly. Financially, you can limit your losses as well as your deposits. You can also restrict your time on site using reality checks or even self-exclude completely.

Unavailable Withdrawal Methods

The limited options for deposits at Tote mean the withdrawal options are equally limited. There are a selection of popular payment methods you cannot withdraw to at Tote.

  • Paysafecard - Paysafecard is a pre-paid card which is a popular method of funding online gambling. It also has the facility to set up an online account which means that some bookmakers, such as Bwin, also offer it for withdrawals. At Tote, it is not offered as a deposit and, therefore, cannot be used to withdraw.
  • Cash/Dedicated Card - Despite the Tote being available at racecourses where they can take cash transactions, there is no function to link this to your online account.
  • Credit Cards - UK gambling regulations mean that credit cards cannot be used to deposit or withdraw.

You can withdraw a maximum of £9,000. Unlike other bookmakers, this is a daily limit rather than a transaction limit.
