Additionally, Kylian Mbappé (Real Madrid) scored 43 goals across all competitions in his first season at RM, breaking Ivan Zamorano record from 1992-93 season.

  • Alexander Sørloth (Atlético Madrid) broke the record for the most goals scored as a substitute in a season - 12 goals - breaking the record of 8 goals jointly held by Juan Antonio Pizzi (Barcelona, 1996-97), Álvaro Morata (Real Madrid, 2013-14), and Ángel Rodríguez (Getafe, 2019-20)

  • Kylian Mbappé (Real Madrid) scored 43 goals across all competitions in his first season at RM, breaking Ivan Zamorano’s previous record of 37 goals from the 1992 - 1993 season

Records broken by TEAMS:

  • Real Valladolid broke the record for the most consecutive losses - since the 8th of March 2025, they have lost 12 times, breaking the record of 11 consecutive losses previously held by Las Palmas who lost 11 consecutive times between 1959 and 1960
  • Real Valladolid broke the record for the most losses in a season - they lost 30 matches, breaking the record of Sporting Gijón who lost 29 times in the 1997 - 1998 season
  • FC Barcelona broke Real Madrid’s record for the most overall goals scored - prior to the 2024 - 2025 season, Real Madrid was at #1 with 6483 goals scored and throughout the season, Barcelona surpassed their record and now they have 6579 goals scored (+102 this season) while Real Madrid has 6561 (+78 this season)
  • FC Barcelona became the first team ever to win all four official El Clásico matches against Real Madrid in a single season (2024-25), breaking the previous record held by Real Madrid, who won three El Clásicos in a season in 2023-24 and 1935-36. The four matches Barcelona won were:
    • October 26, 2024 (La Liga, Santiago Bernabéu): Real Madrid 0–4 Barcelona
    • January 12, 2025 (Spanish Super Cup Final, Jeddah): Real Madrid 2–5 Barcelona

  • RCD Espanyol increased their all-time record for the most matches lost (1170, +18)
