bet365 Edit Bet June 2026: Feature Guide

The bet365 Edit Bet feature lets you modify unsettled wagers on the fly. Increase your stake, swap picks, or add new selections instantly.

How the bet365 Edit Bet Feature Works

The Edit Bet feature utilises bet365’s Cash Out functionality behind the scenes. When you modify a wager, the system automatically cashes out your current bet and immediately places a new one using that cash-out amount as the new stake.

You can edit any unresolved wager as long as the Cash Out option is actively available for it. Even if some selections on a multi-bet slip have already concluded, you can still modify the remaining, undecided outcomes.

Key Points to Keep in Mind

Before editing your bet slip, make sure you understand these crucial factors:

  • Odds Will Fluctuate: Your new wager will reflect current market odds, not the prices you originally locked in. Always review the updated odds before confirming your changes.
  • Flexible Bet Types & Formats: You aren't just limited to changing teams. You can alter the structure of your wager, such as turning a single bet into an accumulator, swapping a treble into three doubles, or shifting a Win-Only bet to an Each-Way bet.
  • Acceptance Delays: There is a brief time delay while bet365 processes and validates your edit request. If a market is suspended or the odds change during this window, your request may be rejected. Do not rely on it as a guaranteed safety net.
  • Bonus & Promo Restrictions: If you used a bet365 bonus code or welcome offer to place your original wager, check the specific promotion's terms. Edited bets do not always count toward bonus rollover or wagering requirements.

How to Use the bet365 Edit Bet Feature

Ready to modify your wager? Follow these quick steps to edit your bet slip in real-time:

  1. Log In: Open the bet365 app or website and log in to your account.
  2. Find Your Slips: Tap on "My Bets" in the top menu bar.
  3. Navigate to Cash Out: Select the "Cash Out" tab to view your eligible active wagers.
  4. Activate Edit Mode: Look for the "Edit Bet" button in the top-right corner of your chosen bet slip.
  5. Adjust & Confirm: Tap it to start adding, swapping, or removing selections, then confirm your new wager.

Your Bet Editing Options (Step-by-Step)

Once you have opened the Edit Bet interface, you can modify your wager using these five features:

What You Want to Do

How to Do It

Add a Selection

Tap "Add Selection." A pop-up will appear, allowing you to browse the sportsbook. Find your new pick, add it to your temporary slip, and select "Add to Bet."

Swap a Selection

Click directly on the selection you want to change. A pop-up will open, showing alternative options in the exact same market for you to choose from.

Remove a Selection

Click the "X" icon to the left of the pick you want to drop. If you make a mistake, simply click "Undo" to bring it back.

Change Your Bet Type

Tap your current bet type displayed at the top of the slip. In the "Change Bet Type" pop-up, you can select a new format (e.g., turning a Treble into Doubles) or toggle the "Each Way" checkbox. Your new stake amount will update automatically.

Increase Your Stake

Tap the current cash-out value at the bottom left of your slip. Enter the additional amount you want to risk. The interface will then display your updated total stake and your new, adjusted cash-out value

Important Final Step: After making your adjustments, you must tap "Save Changes" and then quickly hit "Confirm". You only have a 5-second window to confirm the new odds and stake before the request times out. Once successful, your slip will be officially marked as "Edited."

bet365 Edit Bet - Full Terms
  1. Edit Bet is available on selected events, fixtures and markets both pre-match and In-Play for a variety of sports including Soccer, Tennis, Horse Racing, Cricket and Basketball.
  2. A time delay occurs when validating an Edit Bet request. If the price changes or a market suspends during this time then the Edit Bet request may not be successful.
  3. If the Edit Bet request is successful, the bet will be placed using the new stake and the edited selections will display within My Bets.
  4. When a bet is edited using the Edit Bet feature the new stake will be equal to the current Cash Out value of the bet. The only exceptions to this are: where Edit Bet is used to add a selection to a bet or to increase a stake where all selections in the original bet are still pre-match and where no odds changes have occurred (in this instance the new stake will be equal to the original stake amount or, where the stake has been increased, the increased stake amount); or where the bet type is changed and the Cash Out amount cannot be split equally across all parts of the new bet (in this instance the stake will be rounded down to be applied equally across all parts of the new bet with any excess returned to your account).
  5. Where a bet has been edited using our Edit Bet feature, the original stake will not count towards any offers that include turnover requirements. The new stake would be eligible to contribute towards a turnover requirement, provided that the selections meet the qualifying criteria.
  6. Some bet365 offers will not be applied where the Edit Bet feature has been used. See Terms and Conditions for each offer for details.
  7. Edit Bet is not available on Bet Builder, Each Way Extra bets, Colossus bets, Parlay Cards, Teasers, Fixed Teaser Cards or Fantasy Sports.
  8. bet365 cannot guarantee that the Edit Bet feature will be available on your bet selection. Where Edit Bet is available pre-event and we do not cover the event In-Play then Edit Bet will be unavailable once the event starts.
  9. When editing a bet, any betting limits will still be in place and calculated in the same manner as placing any bet. Where the editing of a bet causes any betting limits to be met, the Edit Bet request would be declined.
  10. bet365 will not be responsible if the Edit Bet feature is not available for technical reasons and bets will stand as originally placed during any such period.
  11. bet365 reserves the right to accept or decline any bet/wager requested for any sport, competition, market or bet type when attempting to use the Edit Bet feature.
  12. bet365 reserves the right to amend, suspend or remove the Edit Bet feature at any time for any event, fixture, market or customer. Any bets placed on such events, fixtures or markets will stand as originally placed.
  13. bet365 reserves the right to reverse the settlement of a bet that has been edited using the Edit Bet feature if the bet or a market is settled in error.

Edit Bet FAQs

If you still have doubts about how bet365 Edit Bet works, we have compiled a list of some common questions below.

When a bet is edited, all prices will be updated to the current odds for that market, rather than the initial odds taken.

If a price changes or a market is suspended before your request is approved, your edited bet may not go through. Also, if your edited bet exceeds any bet limits on your account, it can cause your request to be declined. We recommend contacting bet365 customer service if you are not sure why your edited bet was refused.

The Edit Bet option can only be used on an in-play market. Thus, you should first check if bet365 allows in-play betting on your chosen event. Otherwise, it will be unavailable once the event is underway.

To edit your bet, you should use Cash Out from "My Bets". Click on "Edit Bet" at the top-right of your betslip and make the preferred changes.
