Over the course of the last few years, RB Leipzig have emerged as a force of nature in both German and European football - but unfortunately, this season has seen them really falter in the Champions League and they've struggled to get going in a big way. On the flip side, Aston Villa are absolutely thriving on the big stage, already picking up a few massive wins to help give them a realistic chance of avoiding the need for a place in the play-offs.
Alas, while Leipzig have experienced difficulties, they still have the experience necessary to cause teams problems at this level. Plus, with Villa still finding their feet after a poor recent run of form, we wouldn't be at all surprised to see them panic under the pressure of qualification. This looks set to be a gritty, back and forth affair, and when it's all said and done, we anticipate that the end result will be a thoroughly entertaining 1-1 draw.
Prediction: RB Leipzig 1-1 Aston Villa
Ever since winning the Europa League, Atalanta have showcased a relentless confidence that has allowed them to be in 5th place after over half of the group stage games have been played. Meanwhile, Real Madrid, the biggest club in European and world football, have been floundering. Of course, they're the kind of team who can always turn things around in the blink of an eye, but it's not as if them getting through to the knockouts is a guarantee - especially when they sit down in 24th.
Atalanta simply cannot stop scoring in Europe or domestically and we really do think they're in with a strong shout here against a Madrid team that have lost twice in their last four. With a strong home crowd behind them, as well as a free-flowing frontline that has scored 17 goals in their last six, this feels like a recipe for a bit of an upset. Then again, when you look at the form book, we wouldn't necessarily call Atalanta 2-1 Real Madrid a massive surprise.
Prediction: Atalanta 2-1 Real Madrid
Bayer Leverkusen have transformed into one of the scariest teams in Europe following their astonishing unbeaten Bundesliga campaign last season. Alongside that, they also seem to be handling the pressure pretty well in the Champions League. As for Inter Milan, it also feels like they're beginning to rediscover their identity and get back to the glory days, which says a lot given how much turmoil there's been at the club over the last decade or so.
Leverkusen are 6th with 10 points and Inter are 2nd with 13 points, with the latter currently being undefeated in the competition. Essentially, it all feels as if things are shaping up to be pretty tight in this encounter. They're both well-drilled units at either end of the pitch and it's not hard to picture it being a tense, technical affair. As such, we're going to predict a draw here, but even a small mistake from either side could swing the momentum.
Prediction: Bayer Leverkusen 1-1 Inter Milan
Juventus are no longer the big bad bullies of Italian football and instead, they've turned into draw specialists. They very rarely lose games of football and they know how to frustrate teams, but they struggle in the final third. As for Manchester City, what else can be said? They're on their worst run of form under Pep Guardiola and while there's every chance they could turn things around, something just feels different about them this season.
They've lost their spark and that poor domestic form has carried over into Europe. They're down in 17th place in the table, and Juventus are 19th. We don't expect this to be a classic by any stretch of the imagination and both teams are probably going to be quite reserved with how many they commit forward in the final third. It's not going to be a game you'll go back and watch anytime soon, which is why we're predicting a goalless draw.
Prediction: Juventus 0-0 Manchester City
Arsenal have had more than a few stumbles so far this season but in the Champions League, they're holding steady and they look poised for a spot in the top eight - so long as they can stay consistent. As for Monaco, they've really exceeded expectations thus far in Europe. With that being said, they're coming off the back of a defeat, and their place in the top eight of the table is tentative at best, which isn't great when there's a trip to the Emirates around the corner.
The outcome of this game, in many ways, relies on how the Gunners start. If they start to impose themselves from the word go, then we think there's an excellent chance they could completely run away with this. Alas, if they let Monaco stick around until the second half, the panic will start to set in. In our view, the former is the more likely out of those two possibilities, which is why we're going to shoot for a comfortable 3-0 Arsenal victory.
Prediction: Arsenal 3-0 Monaco
On paper, this is easily the game of the matchweek and it's not even close. Between them, these two sides have scored 34 goals in 10 games in the Champions League, making Dortmund and Barcelona the top scorers in the competition by a country mile. Given that they're currently situated in 3rd and 4th place in the table respectively, we'd suggest that this game serves as an opportunity to really rubber-stamp their places in the top eight.
Dortmund have endless quality in the final third and the same can be said for Barca. It could easily be a game in which they cancel each other out, but we're choosing to believe it'll be the exact opposite. These teams have a history of getting into absolute slugfests and we expect to see them do the same here, which is why we're putting forward a pretty ambitious prediction of 3-3. Either way, we'd be surprised if we didn't get fireworks.
Prediction: Borussia Dortmund 3-3 Barcelona

Although the game is open to all Sky Bet customers, it arguably rewards those who put in the time and effort. So do your research by reading through form tables to see the home and away form and goals scored and against.
Also, be sure to check for any critical player injuries. Like with Fantasy Football, you don’t want to put all your hopes on a team winning only to find their best player is out injured.

Step 1: First, log into or create a Sky account.
Step 2: Once either of these steps is completed, navigate to the ‘Sky Super 6’ page under the Sports or Promotions tab. It can also be found by clicking Soccer and then clicking on the same ‘Sky Super 6’ page.
Step 3: Next, predict the scores for the six nominated fixtures.
Regarding how the Sky Super 6 works, the premise sounds rather simple - predict the correct scores in six selected matches and walk away with £1,000,000 for your troubles. This one is easy to play but incredibly difficult to master.
To make mastering the game a little more difficult, there are no prizes for simply predicting the correct outcome. For example, if Chelsea plays Manchester City and you predict a 1-1 draw, that is the score required to tick off your first winner.
Should the two top-tier rivals play out a 2-2 draw instead, you may have backed the correct outcome, but that is no good in this free football jackpot game.
This game is open to all Sky customers, and not only is it open to all, but it could not be easier to play, although it is incredibly difficult to master. We all know our football, and backing a team to win, lose, or draw is not the most difficult wager.
However, things become much more difficult when you add the correct score. Even though mastering the game may prove difficult, it does nothing to reduce the fun that can be had.
Another point to highlight is that the Sky £2,000,000 jackpot is only available on the season's opening weekend. However, even with the prize pot shrinking the following week, the top prize is still rather substantial.
Of course, that has not stopped a legion of punters from trying their luck each weekend - and long may it continue.
