Nottingham Forest are riding an unbelievable high right now and a lot of credit needs to go to Nuno Espirito Santo for the job that he's been doing at the club. They're in 5th place and, honestly, that's where they deserve to be. Aston Villa are sitting right behind them in 6th and while they've had a few hiccups over the course of the last six weeks or so, Unai Emery continues to prove why he is the right man to lead them forward in this new era of success.
Following on from their electric start to the season, Forest have started to concede a decent amount of goals as of late, shipping 11 in their last five games. As for Villa, they've rebounded from a poor run of form with three straight wins over Brentford, Southampton and Leipzig. Alas, off the back of their European exploits during the week, we think the best they can hope for from the City Ground is a well-earned point.
Prediction: Nottingham Forest 1-1 Aston Villa
Manchester City are, by their standards, in big trouble, and that's not an exaggeration. For whatever reason, it just seems as if the life has been drained from this squad and right now, Pep Guardiola doesn't seem to have an answer for it. As for Ruben Amorim and Manchester United, they also look pretty depleted, sitting down in 13th place in the Premier League. If they aren't careful, they could be gearing up for their worst ever Premier League campaign.
In a weird way, United fans will be pretty happy to get City away at this point in the season, purely based off of how badly the hosts have been faring in the league. With that being said, an angry Pep should concern everyone in the league, especially given his track record of being able to turn things around when they're heading south. We're going to back a 2-0 City win here, but we wouldn't be overly surprised if there's a spanner thrown in the works.
Prediction: Manchester City 2-0 Manchester United
Southampton fans will be the first ones to admit that things are going really poorly at the moment and although we aren't even half way through the season, it's hard to picture a world in which they fend off the threat of relegation. When it comes to their opponents Tottenham Hotspur, their attractive style of football hasn't done a whole lot for them in terms of overall success with Big Ange's men residing down in 11th place in the Premier League.
Since beating Everton 1-0, Southampton have picked up just one point in five - but the positive is that they were pretty competitive in all of those games outside of being mauled 5-1 by Chelsea. Spurs, meanwhile, actually haven't won since demolishing Manchester City 4-0, which leaves them without a victory in five. This is going to be an end-to-end affair on Sunday evening and when all is said and done, we're going to favour Spurs to get over the finish line.
Prediction: Southampton 1-2 Tottenham

The Ladbrokes 1-2-Free prediction game stands out in ensuring that regardless of the number of winners, participants receive the entire Free bet or cash amount of their winnings.
Unlike other platforms that split winnings among winners, Ladbrokes 1-2-Free guarantees the entirety of the prize for each winner.
The Ladbrokes 1-2-Free offer consistently awards a £1 or £5 Free bet for correctly predicting one or two outcomes, and if all three predictions are accurate, the prize rises to an impressive £100.
This unique feature allows participants to strategically place bets on the final game through exchanges, securing a definite profit, a luxury not possible in other offers where winnings are uncertain and potentially lower.
Unlike other promotions where the final winning amount remains uncertain and may be smaller, 1-2-Free ensures that once you've won, the £100 cash prize is exclusively yours.
This emphasises the importance of tailoring your betting strategy towards predicting the most likely scores for each match based on the teams and players involved.
Step 1: First, log into or create a Ladbrokes account.
Step 2: Once either of these steps is completed, navigate to the ‘1-2-Free’ section within the 'Free To Play' tab, placed below the main tab.
Step 3: Next, predict the scores for the three nominated fixtures.
Step 4: Click "Submit".
With the prize amount increasing with each correct answer that you provide, the prizes range from a £1 free bet all the way through to £100 in cash.
