BetDaq Home Page 2022 Betdaq is a betting exchange platform founded in 2000 by Dermot Desmond. It is the second-largest betting exchange in the market.
In 2013 Betdaq was purchased by Ladbrokes PLC for €30 million. In 2018, Betdaq became a property of GVC Holdings (Now Entain), which owns brands including Ladbrokes and Coral. In 2021 Betdaq was sold back to Dermot Desmond for an undisclosed fee.
In the past, Betdaq has been sponsors of Celtic Football Club, London Irish Rugby Club, and Kempton Race Course. However, in 2019, under GVC, they committed to ending all football shirt and perimeter football ground advertising, leading them to pull out of a multi-year deal with Sunderland AFC.
BETDAQ is registered in Guernsey as EPS Ltd and is licensed and regulated in Great Britain by the British Gambling Commission (Reference: 034865).
